Located in South Australia near Adelaide, McLaren Vale is birthplace of South Australia’s wine industry and home to some of the world’s oldest grape vines. This wine region boasts approximately 80 cellar doors and vineyards and serves as the vibrant epicenter of the Fleurieu Peninsula’s thriving wine-growing area.
Nestled between the picturesque Gulf St. Vincent inlet and the majestic Mount Lofty Ranges, this region’s vineyards are interspersed with charming olive and almond groves.
Serving as the bustling hub of the area, McLaren Vale town marks the beginning of the renowned Shiraz Trail.
This scenic trail traces the path of a former railway, leading all the way to the enchanting town of Willunga.

Shiraz Trail – The 8km walking and cycling track stretches from McLaren Vale to Willunga and has incredible vineyard views and cellar doors.
d’Arenberg Winery – A must visit quirky and iconic winery, known for its 5-story building and art decor.

Fleurieu Arthouse – Situated within the stunning grounds of historic winery Hardys Tintara, the Fleurieu Arthouse is surrounded by beautiful old trees and is close to the cellar door where visitors can buy a glass of wine before browsing our design store, gallery and studios.
Glass Studio at Willunga – Glenn Howlett and locals come together to create some amazing and unique art pieces that is a must see!
Micky Barlow Aboriginal Artist Studio – Micky Barlow is a Kokatha woman, Aboriginal contemporary artist and basket weaver offering gifts and she even does workshops.
